During her working visit to the Republic of Türkiye, the Governor (Bashkan) of Gagauzia, Evghenia Guțul, met with Oğuz Karakaş, Deputy Director General of Anadolu Agency.
The meeting was also attended by Orhan Gazigil, Adviser to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye in Istanbul, and Erman Yüksel, Marketing Director of Anadolu Agency.
During the discussion, Evghenia Guțul briefed the participants on the current social, political, and economic situation in Gagauzia. The parties also explored potential areas for partnership and cooperation.
Vasilii Dermendji, Executive Director of GRT, the Public Broadcasting Company of ATU Gagauzia, and Anastasia Ciolac, Head of the General Department of External Relations of Gagauzia, noted that Türkiye has achieved significant success in the broadcasting and content production sectors. Members of the Gagauz delegation expressed their interest in benefiting from the experience and expertise of Turkish broadcasters.
For their part, Oğuz Karakaş and Erman Yüksel presented the activities of Anadolu Agency and proposed exploring opportunities for cooperation in news and content production.
