The new head of the OSCE mission in the Republic of Moldova, Klaus Neukirch, visited Gagauzia on Monday, December 17
The Governor of Gagauzia Irina Vlah met with the head of the OSCE office.
The Governor of the Autonomy congratulated Klaus Neukirch on his appointment and wished him successful activities in our country. The Governor emphasized constructive and trusting relationship between the leadership of Gagauzia and OSCE mission. In particular, the Governor noted the importance of the process of harmonizing the legislation of the Republic of Moldova and the ATU Gagauzia started with the support of the OSCE. During the meeting, the Governor expressed the position of the leadership of Gagauzia regarding the package of legislative initiatives developed by the joint inter-parliamentary commission. The Governor emphasized that the authorities of the autonomy wait for a positive decision on these laws in the renewed composition of the parliament of the republic.
