The delegation from the ATU Gagauzia held working meetings in Ankara of the Republic of Turkey
From 09 to 10 January 2019, Governor of Gagauzia delegated the delegation of the Executive Committee to hold a number of official meetings in Ankara of the Republic of Turkey.
The delegation from the ATU Gagauzia held a working meeting with the representative of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Turkey Dursun Turk.
During the meeting, sides discussed the details of the project for the construction of the stadium in mun. Comrat.
The parties agreed that construction would begin shortly.
The amount of the project to build a new stadium will be more than ten million euros.
Also during the official visit, a working meeting was held with the Deputy Turkish Agency for Cooperation and Development (TIKA) Birol Cetin.
During the meeting, the parties discussed a number of projects implemented in the ATU Gagauzia and also discussed future projects that will be implemented by TIKA Agency in Gagauz Autonomy in 2019. Such projects as water supply in the city of Vulcanesti, repair of the roofs of educational institutions in Gagauzia, construction of an educational center and others.
The official visit was attended by Vitaly Vlah - Head of the General Department of External Relations, Konstantinov Nikolay - Head of the General Department of Construction and Infrastructure, Sergey Stoyanoglo- Head of the General Department of Youth and Sports of ATU Gagauzia as well as Rafet Köksal - Chairman of the Moldova-Turkey Friendship Society.
