Governor of Gagauzia Evghenia Guțul had a meeting with the OSCE Head of Mission Election Observation
The Governor (Bashkan) of Gagauzia, Evghenia Guțul, held a meeting with the OSCE Head of Mission Election Observation, Ms. Corien JONKER.
In the framework of the discussion, the interlocutors spoke about the importance of a transparent and fair election campaign in the Gagauz autonomy and the Republic of Moldova.
"We are creating equal conditions for campaigning in Gagauzia. All electoral competitors can hold meetings in social institutions and authorities in accordance with the established procedure," the Head of Gagauzia noted.
In the general local elections in the ATU Gagauzia, more than 110 candidates are running for mayor and more than 1,200 candidates for local and municipal councillors.
