Head of Gagauzia Evghenia Guțul met with representatives of the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Czech Republic
Governor (Bashkan) of Gagauzia, Evghenia Guțul, held a meeting with representatives of the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs of the Czech Republic, during which the implementation of the project “Harmonization of the social protection system in Gagauzia” was discussed.
Czech partners are investing more than 600 thousand euros in the modernisation of social services in Gagauzia.
The project includes the reconstruction of an educational center for social workers and the purchase of modern equipment necessary for specialists.
"We highly appreciate the support of our external partners, which helps the Gagauz authorities to improve the quality of social services and the standard of living in the region as a whole," noted the Head of Gagauzia.
