Governor of the ATU Gagauzia Evghenia Guțul made a working visit to Brussels
On December 18-19, the Governor (Bashkan) of the ATU Gagauzia, Evghenia Guțul made the first working visit to Brussels, the European Union.During the visit, the Head of the Gagauz Autonomy held a meeting with journalists and experts in Brussels. During an open dialogue, the Governor spoke about the Gagauz people and the contradictions that have built up between the central authorities and the authorities of the Autonomy.
“I am sure that drawing the attention of the international community to the problems of the functioning of the Gagauz Autonomy will help protect our special legal status and powers. I thank the journalists and experts who took part in the meeting for their sincere interest in the Republic of Moldova and the Gagauz people,” Evghenia Guțul said.
