Governor of Gagauzia Evghenia Guțul met with the Gagauz diaspora in Turkey
On December 23, at the invitation of the diaspora, the Governor (Bashkan) of Gagauzia, Evghenia Guțul held a meeting with Gagauz people permanently residing in Istanbul.
“In an informal setting, we discussed current events in our country and Autonomy, and talked about the importance of strengthening friendly ties with the Republic of Turkey.
Many of those who came to the meeting have been living in Turkey for more than 20 years and are worried about us from a distance and wish Gagauzia peace and prosperity,” the Head of the Gagauz Autonomy noted.
