International Taekwondo Сamps have started in Gagauzia
An international event in Gagauzia. More than 150 athletes and coaches from Turkey and the Republic of Moldova participate in professional taekwondo camps.
Training are held under the patronage of the Consulate General and the Taekwondo Federation of Turkey in one of the best sports facilities in the country — the regional sports complex in city of Comrat.
“The 20 best athletes of the Turkish national team and the coaching staff arrived in Gagauzia to prepare together for the upcoming European and World Championships. Cultural exchange, strengthening of interethnic ties, development of theoretical and practical skills — in the next few days Gagauzia will become the center of sports and the Olympic movement," said Governor (Bashkan) of Gagauzia Evghenia Guțul.
