Gagauz culture was presented at the XXVII International Specialized Exhibition “Tourism&Travel Expo”
On February 16-18, Gagauz culture was presented at the XXVII International Specialized Exhibition “Tourism&Travel Expo”, which opened in the capital’s IEC “Moldexpo”.
The main elements of national culture were represented at the exhibition: music and dances in ethno-style, national carpet and a long history of carpet-weaving, the richest dishes of Gagauz cuisine, unique customs and traditions, event tourism.
“Thousands of people from Moldova and foreign guests visited our Gagauz national yard, immersed themselves into the diversity of Gagauz culture and have already planned their visit to Gagauzia.
We told participants of the Exhibition about evet tourism in Gagauzia – about our unique national festivals, which unite thousands of people in one place: Hederlez, the Wine Festival, the Carpet Festival, the Gastronomic Festival “Dolu Sofra”.
I was glad to meet our dear guests at the International Exhibition – a group of famous journalists from Turkey. Today they are going to visit our Autonomy to tell the Turkic world about the Gagauz people”, – the Governor (Bashkan) of the ATU Gagauzia Evghenia Guțul said.
